Doctoral Program Financial Assistance

Tuition and Fees
UNCG Tuition and Fees are subject to change and the most up-to-date information can be found at the Cashiers and Student Accounts Office.

Graduate Assistantships
A limited number of graduate assistantships are available for full-time students, and they provide not only financial assistance but also important learning opportunities. Assistantships require 20 hours per week of work and can focus on research or teaching. Competitive stipends are offered for this work and often include a tuition waiver.

Loans and Scholarships
We encourage all students with a financial need to contact the UNCG Financial Aid Office to learn about financial aid and scholarships.

Miscellaneous Opportunities
Other revenue-generating opportunities (e.g., facilitating professional development) are sometimes available for graduate students with appropriate expertise but these opportunities are less predictable.
