The SOE Curriculum Committee would like to update you on our deadlines for the 2017-2018 year.
Deadline to Submit Forms to SOE Curriculum Committee

Please note: Submissions for curricular changes to the SOE Committee for Spring/Summer 2018 must be received by September 5th, and must be approved by our September 12th meeting. Please submit all forms to Scott Howerton: wshowert@uncg.edu. If you have any questions about curricular items, please feel free to contact your SOE Curriculum Committee representative.

Boyce to give AADS Conversation with the Community Talk on October 25th at 6pm

Dr. Boyce is a speaker in the African American & African Diaspora Studies Program’s Conversation with the Community Series. The title of the talk is Culture, Diversity, and Equity in STEM Program Evaluation. It will be held on October 25th at 6pm in the EUC Maple room.

 

FACULTY/ALUMNI/STUDENT ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Congratulations to Dr. Edna Tan (TEHE) on her award from Michigan State University for her project “Equitably Consequential Making among Youth from Historically Marginalized Communities.” This project is supported by funds from the National Science Foundation (NSF). 

Congratulations to Dr. John Willse (ERM) on his award from Wake Forest University for his project “Using projective unidimensional models for measuring multidimensional educational data.”  This project is supported by funds from the U.S. Department of Education Institute of Education Sciences (IES).
