Angela (Angie) Gantt has begun her role as the new Administrative Associate for Student Services & Advising.  Angie comes to us from Alamance Schools where she served in a similar role.  Her first day was Monday April 17th.  We are excited to have her on board, and thank Wayne Johnson (SPED dept.) and Nor Othman (ELC dept.) for participating on the search committee.

Yopp Distinguished Speaker Series in Mathematics Education

The TEHE Mathematics Education Faculty are delighted to welcome Dr. Samuel Otten to UNCG on Wednesday, May 17, 2017. As part of the Yopp Distinguished Speaker Series in Mathematics Education, he will give a talk from 5–6:30 pm focused on flipped instruction in mathematics. FACULTY, STUDENT AND ALUMNI ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Dr. Kerri Richardson (TEHE) was recognized for her service with Surry County Schools by superintendent Dr. Travis Reeves and assistant superintendent Dr. Jill Reinhardt. The recognition took place on April 3 at their board meeting. She was presented with a plaque signed by all of the elementary school principals in the district who were also in attendance.
