+Computer Lab Reservations
In the School of Education (SOE), the office of Instructional Technology Support, has three computer labs available to be reserved, two equipped with Dell computers and one with Macs. SOE faculty and staff members may reserve the campus computer labs for activities or programs that are officially sponsored by a UNC Greensboro entity.

+ Video Conference Equipment Reservations
The School of Education (SOE), office of Instructional Technology Support, offers multiple video conference systems that can be reserved. This equipment is intended for use by SOE faculty and staff only. We do our best to meet all requests.

+ Laptop Cart Reservation
The School of Education (SOE), office of Instructional Technology Support, manages two laptop carts with a total of 60 Dell laptops, 30 per cart. These laptop carts are for use throughout the School of Education building. This equipment is intended for us by SOE faculty and staff only. We do our best to meet all requests.

+ Mursion
Located on the third floor of the School of Education building, the SOE Mursion Lab, is a virtual training simulator that delivers simulated learning experiences, using virtual reality technologies to situate the learner in the real-world context of the skill he or she seeks to master. The SOE Mursion Lab gives teacher candidates the opportunity to practice interacting with “students” who listen and respond to their instruction. Students are able to take strategies practiced in the Mursion Lab to their internships in classrooms and real-world experiences. Mursion’s immersive simulations challenge learners in ways that no other training modality can.

+ Taskstream
Taskstream is a web-based electronic portfolio and assessment management application. It provides students with a means to showcase their work and submit work to faculty for evaluation. All education majors are required compile licensure requirements and submit via Taskstream. The e-Portfolio can be shared with anyone and published on the web. Visit

Classroom Support
UNC Greensboro Information Technology Services (ITS) provides classroom technologies support to foster the synergy of technology, pedagogy, and the learning space.
