• Video Conferencing Equipment (webcam & speakerphone)

The UNC Greensboro School of Education (SOE) provides technology support through consultation, instruction, and equipment checkout (e.g., laptop carts, video conferencing equipment), through the office of Instructional Technology Support.

We are actively involved with promoting technical competence, awareness, and skill-building throughout our educational programs, emphasizing the benefits that technology can bring to the classrooms by promoting active, participatory learning. Our mission is to assist SOE faculty and staff to effectively integrate technology into their teaching and learning.

Our office is committed to:

  • Provide timely technical support for faculty and staff with Canvas, Taskstream, and other instructional technology options.
  • Implement professional development opportunities in technology for faculty and staff.
  • Dispense expert advice and instructional development services to faculty using technology in their teaching.
  • Research emerging technologies to provide current recommendations.

To request technical assistance (i.e. hardware, software, connectivity issues, etc.), please email soe-tech-l@uncg.edu and include as much information about your request as possible. The request will notify Bob Englert, Technology Analyst for the School of Education.

Instructional Technology Support

SOE faculty and staff should direct all instructional technology (i.e. Canvas, Webex, Taskstream, Box, SoftChalk, etc.) requests to the instructional technology consultants by filling out the Instructional Tech Consultation form.
