Congratulations are in order for recent LIS grad Laura Brown, who has accepted a full-time position as the Adult Services Librarian at the Granville County Public Library.

About her new job she says, “I’m very eager to begin my work as the Adult Services Librarian at the Granville County Library System.  GCLS is going through some changes with the recent hiring of a new director, Jonathan Bradsher, and I’m looking forward to being a part of what I’m sure will be a period of growth and excitement for the library.”

Brown was a Summer 2015 graduate of the UNCG LIS program and is slated to begin at her new position on September 1.
