FACULTY/STUDENT/ALUMNI NEWS

Kathelene Smith, MLIS ’09, and Keith Gorman, Assistant Dean for SCUA in the University Libraries were mentioned by Kaitlin Throgmorton for their work on creating a successful volunteer program in SCUA. Of course, many MLIS students have been participants in that program both as volunteers and practicum students. Congratulations and thanks to both of them on their great work.

Congratulations to Dr. Anne Akers for the mention in a recent American Libraries Direct of her blog post in Knowledge Quest as important to all librarians.  Direct access to the post is at http://knowledgequest.aasl.org/separating-wheat-chaff/
