A local history project funded by an Institute for Museum and Library Services Spark grant and led by the University Libraries Digital Projects unit was featured on the front page of the Greensboro News and Record on Saturday, June 20, 2015. Stephen Catlett and LIS alumnus David Gwynn led the project that taught local youth at the Hayes-Taylor YMCA to digitize, organize, and describe local history contributed by community members. The celebration of the event featured the collection of more artifacts from the attendees.

Congratulations on a wonderful, community engaged project!
