Please join LIS students, faculty, and alumni at our annual Career Day on April 9, 2016, from 10-11:30 in the Virginia Dare Room of Alumni House on the UNCG campus. You do not have to register, as there will be plenty of room.  See the list of speakers on the flyer below.

If you do come to campus consider registering for the Alumni Lunch which begins at noon. Faculty and alums are supporting any student who wishes to come but you must register by emailing: kathrynschlee@earthlink.net.

Here is a description of the Alumni Lunch:

The event will take place Saturday, April 9 at 12pm in the Alumni House on the UNCG campus.Join us in honoring Brigitte Blanton, the 2016 recipient of the Beatrice Kovacs Award for Outstanding Alumni Achievement. Brigitte is a graduate of the LIS program and is the Director of Greensboro Public Library.

Our Cora Paul Bomar Lecture speaker for the event will be Alex London. He’s the author of young adult novels including Proxy and Guardian, and the middle grade series The Accidental Adventures, Dog Tags, and Tides of War.
