Three ERM graduate students, Cherie Avent, Aileen Reid, and Adeyemo Adetogun, presented at the Conference on African-American and African Diasporic Culture and Experience on February 22nd, 2017. Their panel presentation title was And Still I Rise: Lived Experiences of Prominent and Emerging Black Evaluators. They are working with Dr. Ayesha Boyce on this research and she served as the panel moderator for the panel. The purpose of this research is to examine experiences of prominent and emerging Black program evaluators in the 20th and 21st centuries. Initial findings from this study compared and contrasted lived experiences of Black evaluators who are diverse in gender, age, years of experience, and nation of origin.
