The Department of Educational Leadership and Cultural Foundations welcomes Dr. Rochelle Brock as Professor and Chair. Dr. Brock comes to UNCG and ELC from Indiana University Northwest where she served as the Executive Director of the Urban Teacher Education Program. Prior to her work at Indiana University Northwest, she was a faculty member at Purdue University.

Dr. Brock received her Ph.D. from The Pennsylvania State University and has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. Her research interests revolve around urban education, critical pedagogy, and Black Feminism. She was actively involved in K-12 schools during her years at IU Northwest.
