Upon completion of this degree, graduates may be eligible for various positions in their school districts like curriculum specialists, curriculum facilitators, STEM coordinators, and other leadership roles at their school sites.

Research Interests

The program integrates research on equity and social justice education within the context of Makerspaces to support practitioners to integrate making and design into their instruction and professional practice. The certificate program focuses on best practices in the set up and organization of Makerspaces, as well as the design of learning activities to support making and design in educational settings.

  • TED 648: Design-based Action Research in Education
