UNCG’s Learning Factory Summer Camp is a maker camp for students led by classroom teachers. Throughout the one week in the makerspace, campers will engage in various activities in robotics, circuitry, engineering, digital storytelling, and computer science. The camp program will focus on building students’ capacities to use creativity, critical thinking and problem solving skills.

 

2019 Dates:  

Middle School Camp (Grades 6-8): July 8 – 12
Elementary School Camp (Grades Rising 1 – 5):  July 22 – 26

Logo for campWriting and Robotics is an afternoon companion program in conjunction with the Young Writer’s Camp.  In this program, we will give students an opportunity to design and construct a working robot based on the writing they create in the Young Writer’s Camp.  The kit we will be using is called the Hummingbird Robotics kit.

2019 Dates:  July 15th – July 19th, 12 pm – 4 pm
