The Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Teacher Education with a Concentration in the Learning Sciences Program helps students develop mastery in general focal areas that will strengthen work in the field of education, including:

Faculty in the M.Ed. Learning Sciences Program engage in research in a wide range of areas. These include: equity in science education; student culture/identity and learning; professional development in math education; educational psychology; motivation; self regulation; understanding student learning; sociocultural lens on learning; student belonging; teaching politics; and online education.

Minimum Program Requirements
Initial A Licensure in Education and 2 years teaching experience or related educational professional/practitioner experience with appropriate degree (e.g., Psychology).
