About CED
CED has consistently been ranked as one of the top counseling and counselor education programs in the nation, ranking in the top 10 for over three decades. We provide an optimal learning experience for those aspiring to be professional counselors (master’s-level) and those preparing to teach and supervise counseling students (doctoral level). Our program emphasizes culturally responsive counseling services for individuals, families, groups, and couples across the lifespan, in a wide range of settings.
We offer hands-on experience each semester of the program within a supportive community focused on helping students achieve their professional goals.
Additionally, our cohort model offers students a community, with shared experiences, that can support and learn from each other.
NCA-STAR
NCA-STAR promotes health and wellness through training and outreach, service provision, and research.
Vacc Clinic
Our mission is to provide accessible mental health services to the UNC Greensboro community and community at large while providing our counselor trainees a rich and meaningful training experience.
